North Bay iHub Hosts Consultant / Inventor Moskoff for Mobile App Talk

Preparation Will Save You Thousands of Dollars
George Moskoff, in a talk for Soco Nexus’  on Wednesday, December 5th, stressed the importance of carefully thinking through your mobile app idea and documenting how you want it to work.  It’s critical, he says, to making sure you “hit the mark” and have your App stand out among the more than 1,000,000+ Apps (475,000 are for iPad) in the iTunes App Store.

“Most folks go headlong into discussions with programmers — who will say they’re also into design — and end up re-tracing steps that should have been taken prior to that,” said Moskoff. He adds that if you use programs like Keynotopia, Grafio, Mindmap, etc., you can easily communicate, show, demonstrate and test the concept before you do any programming; all of these applications, he points out, have just been developed in the last few years and afford a great measure of benefit to the would-be app developer.

What I liked most about your presentation was the quality of the content.  I found it to be an easy to understand “behind the curtain” introduction to the key issues of developing mobile apps combined with practical information.  The fact that you were able to speak from your own experience was particularly valuable.  — Larry Williams, Ph.D., Williams IPS, Registered Patent AgentScreen Shot 2013-12-09 at 10.30.26 AM

Part II of Moskoff’s talk, dealing with the mobile app technology options, will be Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Noon at Soco Nexus offices at in Rohnert Park, California.

Business Essentials Series are held the first and third Wednesdays of the month at noon in the Wells Fargo Conference Room.  Attendance is free to the public.
